It's made from Hand-tufted virgin wool, when you buy the rug you get three wooden cars with it and it was inspired by the movements a child makes when playing with a car. But what great fun, not only a rug but a car mat, great space saver.

A really stunning design... and to think, it was inspired by children! Like you said, a great double up as a piece of contemporary art, but practical for the kids!!! I'd like to see more furniture and home accesories like this where the sophisticated and child friendly meet half way.
This is really nice and it obviously has some intelligent research behind it! much more attractive than a scalextric track anyway!!
i agree its much more attractive than a scalextric, a great family friendly item, looks great in the home and is fun for kids too, a genious mix.
