Kissmas

It is coming up to our favourite festive time of the year - forgetting the long list of presents you need to get ready for Santa... Paul Cocksedge has produced a new interactive light installation to be set in Covent Garden, London. This piece takes form of a christmas tree (naturally) whereby shoppers will be the key ingredient... Interested... Well passsers by will have the opportunity to kiss under a giant mistletoe which in turn makes the tree change from white leds to red ones... Pretty impressive. A must see this christmas, as well as a west end show and ice-skating at Somerset House. Check out Paul Cocksedges site for more pieces.

Whatever Next

While recently shopping at Fosse Park I stopped and admired Next's latest window display. A mixture of thoughts were running through my head, part of me loving the effort and the festiveness the other half of me jealous that this is someone's job. After i got over the later part I enjoyed the display, all the 3d snowflakes (so to speak) making a wonderful back drop to present some of this winters finest garments. I think Next generally go to great lengths to put on a good display of there products and when you look in there windows compared to neighboring shops it makes a difference. Lets see what the likes of Marks and Spencer and John Lewis have this season...
