the red stuff

Simple and creative ad with little copy because of such a powerful image, but personally at the end of the day i would not be having ketchup on my steak.

I really like this ad, its so simple yet gets the message across effectively- food without ketchup tastes like cardboard. But like you said, maybe they could have shown food which is more commonly associated with ketchup i.e fish and chips. I presume they must have done a series of these using this concept?

Brilliant! I'm intrigued by Zahid's comment. I can see where you are coming from about the food tastes like cardboard without Ketchup. I see it differently.

When I saw this, I read it as... Food is boring without Ketchup.

Holly, could be interesting if you found out the concept behind this ad!

hey i have been looking and i think its a combination of the both, i personally thought the same as zahid but probs good that it has two interpretations in the sense that the two comments both over lap, also see ive added two other posters in the campaign, personally more relevant in my eyes.

really intreguing what zahid and michelle have said. My first idea was that food was boring, colourless and tasteless which i suppose falls into both of your ideas!
The campaign is really helped by the choice of using a white background so that the only vibrant colour on the page is the red of the ketchup.
